Arthur and I have been going to Masti for over 3 years now. We would definitely recommend it. The service and food is excellent. We have been to the one in Morning Side and Dundee Terrace. Never been disappointed with the food or service. We are made to feel like part of the family, always receiving a warm welcome from Ahmed and his staff. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. We ordered chicken on the bone, fish curry, roti and biryani. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious. Moreover, the quantity gave me a surprise for the prices. I am amazed at the quality and quantity of this restaurant. I would totally recommend this place for authentic Indian food that tastes like home and has actual hot and spicy food. This is easily the top three places in Edinburgh to eat Indian food.
All good but expected some more vegetarian options. This is my favourite place for dinner. If you want to eat the best and fresh handmade roti, this restaurant is best in the city of Edinburgh.
Absolutely brilliant. Went in hoping for a table and they squeezed us in. They selected some dishes for us amd it was the perfect mix. What really made it was the top notch service. Will definitely be back!
Update: I finally had the chance to dine in. I can say my original review holds. If anything, it's probably my favourite Indian this side of Edinburgh. A really nice tasty Indian restaurant. We ordered a range of classics such as chicken tikka masala and chicken korma, and they were very tasty. The delivery was on time and food was well packaged. The portion sizes were good too, enough to fill us up. I'm giving 5 stars because they deserve it and I couldn't find any problems with our evening delivery. For an easy, comfortable Indian takeaway, I'd recommend this place.

Four of us popped in for lunch last week and it was superb. The lunch deal is excellent value at 10.99 per head for 2 courses plus ice cream or coffee. The portions were a good size and super tasty and the staff were great and very friendly. The atmosphere was very laid back and casual. The added bonus of BYOB with no corkage is great. Overall highly recommend this restaurant it is excellent value with super tasty dishes.
